Welcome to the Allen Tate Computing Services website. I specialize in providing website hosting & open source content management system (CMS) websites for small businesses as well as troubleshooting and repairing PCs for homes and small businesses.

Allen Tate Computing Services was actually branched off from my first business started in 1998, Custom Web Pages. — I changed the business name when two things happened. (1) I started to get requests from people to work on their home computers. (2) I became an authorized AVG dealer. — Custom Web Pages has since been completely absorbed into this website.

One of my favorite projects is setting up affordable web, mail and/or file servers for small businesses that don’t require over priced “per seat” license or proprietary formats that lock you into arbitrary (and sometimes unnecessary) upgrades.

I guess I should put a little disclaimer here that at this point in time, I am not familiar with Apple products so if you’re looking for someone to help you with an iPod, iPhone or a Mac, then I’ll have to refer you to someone else. And don’t worry, I know just the right guy!
